Vardy School and Mahala Mullins Cabin Guided Tours

W.C. Collins of the Vardy Historical Society is available by appointment for tours of the Vardy Church and Mahala Mullins cabin, museums located in Vardy, north of Sneedville. If you have an interest in Melungeon culture and history and have the time and opportunity to take this tour with W.C. Collins, we highly recommend it. Mr. Collins is a wonderful guide for this subject matter, particularly, as he attended Vardy school and is a direct descendant of Mahala Mullins. He may be reached at (423) 733-2305.
